J &J Cattle CO. LLC
began in 1998 with these objectives in mind. Our means to accomplish these goals were to seek out a select group of Angus
females representing the elite cow families of the breed and through the use of embryo transfer, build an elite cow herd in
volume numbers. We utilize visual appraisal for economically imporantant traits (such as structural soundness,
balance and fleshing ease) which can't be quantified with linear meaurements. In tandem with this we closely scrutinize every
piece of data available through the Angus Herd Improvement program (individual performance, within contemporary
group ratios and the Expected Progeny Differences) to evaluate economically important traits which can be meaure quantitatively.
The result of this approach, using sound science and common sense, is Angus seedstock which can be used with confidence
to improve our customers bottom line. Because of excellent customer service and working with our past buyers we
can offer groups of replacement heifers and feeders calves as well as show heifer prospects registered cow-calf pairs,
donor females and guaranteed breeding bulls.
